Hello! My name is Katie Cimmino and I am a senior at the University of Connecticut studying Digital Marketing, Statistics, and Multimedia Production. Throughout my time at UConn, I have discovered my passion for storytelling - whether it's through analytical methods such as data visualization or creative methods such as video edits, I love communicating information in engaging and concise ways for consumers to enjoy.

Driven by a passion for creativity and innovation, I recently delved into web development, crafting this portfolio website from scratch using HTML and CSS to showcase my projects and skills. Whiteboard Animation

As a Marketing intern, I produced compelling whiteboard animations that illustrate the product installation process. Combining tools from Videoscribe, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, I developed proficiency in delivering content that is engaging and user-friendly.

Product Tutorial - YouTube Marketing

As a Marketing intern, I leveraged my skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop to craft engaging tutorial videos. With a keen focus on user experience, these videos seamlessly guide viewers through the product installation process.

Short Documentary - "Emma on Ice"

Throughout an individual semester-long project, I illustrated a captivating story by seamlessly navigating all facets of production. From storyboarding to interviewing, filming, and editing, I demonstrated my comprehensive skill set in bringing a narrative to life.

Movie Trailer - "Any Means Necessary"

Tasked with the challenge of creatively reimagining a movie by completely flipping its genre, my team and I created a trailer to reframe "The Parent Trap" as a suspenseful movie.

Short Documentary - "The E-Sports Team"

In a dynamic team of four, I took on the crucial role of Editor for our project. Through gathering and editing footage, I played an integral part in bringing our collective vision to life.
